Building the dreams

Oman is heralding a new era of intelligent urbanisation sculpting tomorrow's cities today.

In the dynamic landscape of the Middle East, Oman stands testament to relentless economic growth and development.

What lies at the heart of the remarkable transformation that the world has come to applaud is the construction industry — the key driver propelling the nation towards a future brimming with opportunities.

Oman’s ambitious vision, encapsulated in Oman Vision 2040, charts a course towards sustainable urbanisation and resilient cities. This vision is swiftly materialising through the concerted efforts of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, spearheading collaborations with international firms to sculpt cities of tomorrow.

Sultan Haitham City

The inception of Sultan Haitham City marks a significant milestone. Upon completion in 2045, the city is slated to accommodate 100,000 residents.

Nestled in picturesque Al Seeb, the sprawling metropolis will redefine urban living, boasting 19 vibrant neighbourhoods spread across 2.9 million square metres of pristine land.

Designed by renowned architects from Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the city embodies innovation, sustainability, and connectivity, heralding a new era of intelligent urbanisation.

The blueprint of Oman’s future is not confined to Sultan Haitham City. Rathath Boulevard in Dhofar, Ames Bay in Musandam, and Rimal Park in South Batinah stand testament to Oman’s unwavering commitment to progress. These mega projects, carefully curated through an annual competition, signify a harmonious blend of public and private sector collaboration, unlocking boundless potential across various governorates.

Sustainable and self-sufficient

Despite challenges, Oman marches forward with resilience and determination. Water scarcity, a pressing concern, is met with proactive measures such as advanced desalination plants and comprehensive infrastructure projects.

Initiatives like the Independent Water Project in Sur, powered by renewable energy, underscore Oman’s strides towards sustainability and self-sufficiency.

Furthermore, Oman’s urban landscape presents a paradigm shift, with visionary projects like Al Khuwair Muscat Downtown and Waterfront Development. Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, this transformative initiative mirrors Oman’s aspirations for a vibrant, inclusive urban fabric that accommodates the burgeoning population and surging tourism.

Smart Home

Al Faiha Development Company’s Smart Home project epitomises the fusion of luxury and sustainability in the heart of Oman’s capital. Boasting smart apartments equipped with cutting-edge technologies, this development sets a new standard for modern living, offering residents a seamless blend of comfort, convenience, and environmental consciousness.

As Oman continues its ascent towards prosperity, these groundbreaking initiatives serve as beacons of hope, illuminating a path towards a future where innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity reign supreme. The journey is paved with promise as Oman forges ahead, transforming dreams into reality.
