Americana acquires Pizza Hut in Oman

The deal includes 46 Pizza Hut restaurants, generating an annual revenue of approximately $11 million in 2024.

Americana Restaurants International has completed the acquisition of the Pizza Hut brand in Oman from the Khimji Ramdas Group.

This means Americana Restaurants will have a network of 46 Pizza Hut restaurants in Oman with annual revenue of around $11 million in 2024.

“The acquisition of 46 Pizza Hut restaurants, with an annual revenue of approximately $11 million in 2024, supports Americana Restaurants’ strategy to expand its regional footprint and strengthen its presence in existing markets,” a press release issued by the company said on Friday.

Americana Restaurants already operates the Pizza Hut franchise in the UAE and other leading Gulf and Middle East markets. Operating in Oman since 1986 through its popular brands KFC and Hardee’s, Americana Restaurants has built a strong connection with local communities.

“Through this acquisition in Oman, Americana Restaurants has increased its network of Pizza Hut restaurants across multiple markets in the regionto circa 450, further solidifying its position as a category leader in the pizza segment,” the statement added.
