‘Family Walk’ challenge on HUAWEI Health App promotes a lifestyle of wellness

HUAWEI Health App covers all aspects of a healthy lifestyle, including Fitness, Nutrition and Wellness.

To promote physical activity, healthy habits, and a lifestyle of wellbeing, Huawei recently introduced the ‘Family Walk’ challenge on HUAWEI Health App. Until 28 February, individuals and their families can log into the Health App using their mobile phones or smartwatches, walk and achieve the 2000 step milestone in one day to be recognized with the ‘Family Walk’ medal.

The company continues to lead the charge when it comes to wearable innovation by providing a unified language for the intelligence, interconnection, and collaboration between different devices and allowing users to seamlessly switch between devices and enjoy a convenient cross-device experience.

HUAWEI Watch GT3 SE

The HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 SE is designed with sports and fitness enthusiasts in mind, the watch allows users to explore their surroundings with its lightweight design that makes it easy to wear on the wrist. Even with all the exquisite technologies and durable materials, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 SE weighs only 35.6 grams (without the belt) and has a total weight of only 11 mm (watch body).

The watch can work with five major satellite systems – GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS – to provide reliable and accurate exercise tracking. Moreover, the high-precision GNSS positioning chip provides excellent anti-interference performance. To further assist users in their training, HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 SE offers more than 100 sports modes, intelligent operating plans and even the self-developed HUAWEI TruSport™ technology, allow users receive assessments and recommendations to help them exercise more effectively. In addition, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 SE supports 5ATM water resistance that meets the ISO 22810:2010 standard, operating normally at a depth of up to 50 meters for 10 minutes.

HUAWEI WATCH FIT 2

The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 2 embodies “Fashion on your wrist” with its stylish design. It has a 1.74-inch AMOLED HD HUAWEI FullView display, with an 18.6% larger display area than the previous generation and a screen-to-body ratio of 72.2%. The display delivers an excellent visual experience and is more vivid than ever. Despite the compact body, HUAWEI WATCH FIT 2 manages to fit in a large battery. Under typical usage scenarios, the smartwatch can be used for 10 days and 7 days under heavy usage scenarios.

The smartwatch can also track a range of health indicators, thanks to Huawei’s upgraded HUAWEI TruSeen™ 5.0 heart rate monitoring technology that accurately measures users’ heart rate and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), and tracks sleep patterns. The watch has a built-in animated fitness coach for 7 workout modes, offering easy-to-follow audio instructions and demonstrations. It also supports more than 97 workout modes.

HUAWEI HEALTH APP
HUAWEI Health App covers all aspects of a healthy lifestyle, including Fitness, Nutrition and Wellness. Users can enjoy a wide range of features of the HUAWEI Health App to stay fit for both physical and mental health. With HUAWEI Health+, Huawei is introducing a new premium paid subscription service for users who are looking for more advanced health & fitness features.

Creating a regiment to stay health is not easy but with the help of the HUAWEI Health App+’s Stay Fit Plan, users can create workouts and eating plans with automatic reminders for individuals base on their personal training days, exercise goals and favourite foods. Use the Nutritional Analysis to input nutrition data for each meal and calculation highly accurate calorie counts that can help users meet their goals.

Huawei currently runs multiple Health Labs to study health-related technology, including Xi’an lab which focuses on innovative use cases for health and fitness technologies. The Songshan Lake Health Lab is intended become a world class health and fitness technology R&D institute dedicated to product R&D, standards R&D, certification, exhibitions, and industry incubation activities.
