Saudi Arabian start-up Riyadh Air has unveiled its first plane as it continues the preparations for its launch of flights in 2025.
The new national carrier will leverage Saudi Arabia’s strategic geographic location between the three continents of Asia, Africa and Europe, enabling Riyadh to become a gateway to the world and a global destination for transportation, trade, and tourism.
In March, the Saudi government announced its plan to launch Riyadh Air with an aim of serving more than 100 destinations by 2030. According to sources, the airline has already placed a commitment for up to 72 Boeing 787-9s.
